As the right hand to the General Manager, this individual is well acquainted with the EEDC and divisional business plans and monitors consistency across all internal & external reports, as well as works with the GM to manage department accountabilities related to the business plan. Their knowledge of organizational values and priorities, combined administrative expertise, makes them uniquely suited to anticipate needs of the organization, as well as identify opportunities for more effective communication, efficiencies and process improvements.

Reporting to the EEDC VP of Human Resources, the Human Resources Manager will work closely with our Corporate HR team to provide hands-on operational and strategic support to managers and employees with a primary focus at the Edmonton EXPO Centre.
Always focused on ensuring a positive, engaging work environment, the successful applicant should be committed to working with operational leaders to develop and apply consistent people practices throughout the Edmonton EXPO Division that align to EEDC’s organizational goals. Always focused on continuous improvement and positive influence, the HR Manager will have their finger on the pulse and be able to provide proactive people solutions.
