The Administrative Assistant will be a “go to” person on the team for clerical and administrative tasks, and will be an approachable contact for internal departmental employees. This individual will manage travel arrangements, document management, internal communications, and expenses for the leadership team.

A familiarity with Customer Relationship Management systems, and the upkeep of inventories will be a great asset to the team. Superb attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple, simultaneous administrative priorities will set this individual up for success. In addition, this role will coordinate divisional meetings and support projects for Tourism as delegated; setting priorities, developing their work schedule, monitoring their progress towards their quarterly business goals and tracking details and activities as needed.

As a coordinator of activities and internal departmental information, this confident and extremely detail oriented individual will deliver an outstanding impression of the Tourism leadership team.  The successful candidate will be able to problem solve, be proactive with a “can-do” attitude and possess the ability to adapt to a variety of tasks and priorities.

The ideal candidate for this opportunity will have experience in office administration, complemented by a post-secondary education in administration or a related field. In addition, this self-starter will be a master of communication who excels in a fast-paced environment. With excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and database applications, this person will be able to work within all computer programs smoothly and efficiently.
