EEDC lights up downtown with giant ‘Let’s Go Oilers’ projection

Edmonton, Alberta – April 27, 2017 – A nine-storey Let’s Go Oilers projection will light up downtown tonight to help cheer on the Edmonton Oilers as they continue their battle against the Anaheim Ducks in the second round of the NHL playoffs.

Edmonton Economic Development Corporation, with the support of Canterra Suites Hotel and Vertica Residents, has set up a light system to project some Oilers spirit onto the east wall of the Jasper OnEleven building at 11020 Jasper Ave.
Oilers fans will be able to see the projection when driving west down Jasper Avenue toward 111 Street. It is also visible from the busy 109 Street and Jasper Avenue intersection.

It will remain lit up throughout the Oilers playoff run.
Fans are encouraged to share photos of the projection on social media, using the hashtags #OrangeCrush and #yegdt.
