We have a rare opportunity for an EA in the Executive Office with a positive, “can do” attitude. As the right hand to the Board and COO, this individual is well acquainted with the EEDC business plan and monitors consistency with Board agendas, and will work with the COO to manage departmental accountabilities related to the business plan. Their knowledge of organizational values and priorities, combined with Board process expertise, makes them uniquely suited to anticipate needs of the Board and organization, as well as identify opportunities for more effective communication, efficiencies and process improvements. Due to their role with our Board and Shareholder they are able to provide insight and direction into maintaining and improving our relationship with each. Modelling the EEDC Way, this individual will be closely connected to all areas of the company, acting as a key resource and information conduit.
As the ideal candidate, having worked with Boards and C-level executives in the past, you understand the value and importance of the senior administrative role and take that level of responsibility and accountability to heart. You quickly earn trust and credibility, and can professionally handle sensitive, personal and confidential information in a discreet manner.
You are a master of all avenues of communication, with the ability to be clear, concise and to the point. As a highly adaptable and resourceful individual, your ability to manoeuvre through process, build relationships and proactively problem solve will ensure your success. You are also a master of and excel at calendar and time management; always looking for opportunities to maximize time and to ensure time spent is valuable for all parties.
Your experience and proficiency with office equipment and applications are basic table-stakes. Your energy, character and commitment set you above the rest.
