EXPO HR Administrative Assistant (2 Positions)

Edmonton Economic Development (EEDC) cultivates the energy, innovation and investment needed to build a prosperous and resilient Edmonton Economy. EEDC will take over operations of the Edmonton EXPO Centre on January 1, 2018 to provide economic and social benefits for the community. The EXPO Centre is one of Edmonton’s convention and exhibition centres, places where people gather to learn, innovate, trade, and celebrate. We are looking for two administrative professionals to join our team as Human Resources Administrative Assistant.

Reporting to the EEDC’s Edmonton EXPO Centre Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Administrative Assistants will serve as a significant resource for the HR team.  This individual will provide support by working closely with the team to identify administrative opportunities and jumps in to ensure workflows are seamless, data is handled in an accurate and timely fashion and that internal and external customers are handled professionally.

Having an eye for detail and the drive for continuous improvement, the HR Administrative Assistant assists with administration, coordination, logistics, and communication in all aspects of the HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, learning & development, and employee events.

In addition to providing overall administrative support, this role is responsible for managing all employee data from inputting profile information into our HRIS, to ensuring all relevant information is filed accordingly.
