Thank you for your interest in Edmonton’s economic development ecosystem.  There have been some changes for Edmonton Economic Development Corporation:

In December of 2019, Edmonton City Council passed a motion to narrow the focus and mandate of the Edmonton Economic Development Corporation (EEDC) to tourism and convention centre management.

City of Edmonton administration is working collaboratively with several organizations to transition services formerly offered by EEDC to the City of Edmonton, Edmonton Global and a future organization that will focus on growing the innovation sector. As work on this transition continues, requests for assistance and questions can be sent to  eedctransition@edmonton.ca

Explore Edmonton Corporation is here

The former divisions within EEDC: Edmonton Tourism, the Edmonton Convention Centre and Edmonton EXPO Centre, are now Explore Edmonton Corporation (Explore Edmonton) – Edmonton’s visitor economy and venue management organization – a depiction of what we do best: We tell Edmonton’s story, elevate the Edmonton experience and generate inbound visitation.

With two world-class venues, the know-how to enhance, execute and support major sport and cultural events, and the commitment to developing products and experiences that are authentic to Edmonton, we strive to make #YEG unforgettable.
